Marti Quade Alley began her healing work
more than seventeen years ago when a “universal 2 x 4” came
crashing down on her. Flat on her back, Marti was forced to look
at her life and rediscover what was really important to her.
Despite her physical limitations, she has
grown powerful in spirit, realizing that God’s purpose for her
life was to give back to the Universe some of the blessings that
she had received during the years. A counselor and healer, Marti
witnesses to the Grace of God in all she does in hope of leaving
the world a better place.
Today, an ordained Minister and also a
Priest in the Temple of the Rose of Christ (a Franciscan healing
order of the Old Orthodox Catholic Church), Marti ministers to
those who need her help on a one-to-one basis. Her ministry, not
only within the church, but within her home…and most
importantly, within her heart.
“I believe the health challenges I’ve
gone through manifested in my life for a reason. And my
introduction to alternative health and the healing I’ve
enjoyed and continue to enjoy also happened for a reason.
I feel strongly at this point that I must give back to
the Universe and help other people in the best way possible to
explore alternative health methods and be open and receptive to
healing techniques they perhaps had not before considered, “
said Marti.
Marti serves as a mentor to many people in
the areas of spirituality, life lessons, and overcoming
challenges of all kinds including physical, emotional, and
spiritual. She
makes herself available for people in need whenever possible.
Having been in that position of desperately needing help
herself, Marti understands the importance and healing power
offered through alternative healthcare.
A healer / truth seeker and a teacher /
student
of life studying several healing modalities including Jin Shin
Jyutsu, SHY and ACCESS, Marti is a Reiki Master/Teacher plus the
team leader of the Spiritual Healing Touch Ministry with Unity
Church of Arlington.
Marti
is a member of the board of directors for Sanctuary for Life with a specific focus on The Daxie Center. The
Daxie Center is a non-profit organization funded partly by the
Sanctuary for Life. Our focus is on helping
challenged children, specifically children with autism,
attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD, ADHD) and other
types of life challenges. The
Daxie Center supports and educates families to improve their
quality of life while dealing with their special needs children.
The goal is to help these children by changing to a
healthier lifestyle, change in diet, and several different types
of modalities including physical therapy, chiropractic,
horse-riding therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Bioenergetic
Analysis and other
avenues of holistic health.
