We are responding to the increase in autism in young children and the increasing interest in complementary healthcare as a treatment for autism. The mission for The Daxie Center is to establish a network of research and treatment centers. In addition, The Daxie Center will extend its services to include special needs children, to help women and their families in crisis and to educate the community on the growing needs of these very special women and children.

·      Conduct research related to complementary healthcare as part of autism research across the full spectrum and lifespan of the disorder.

·      Enlist and engage the autism community in complementary healthcare and research.

·      Stimulate interest in complementary healthcare and support of autism among healthcare practitioners, scientists and researchers.

·      Initiate and support complementary healthcare programs that enhance the potential for successful research.

·      Attract and provide resources in support for bona fide complementary healthcare research projects.

·      Build awareness of and provide support to women in crisis and their families, giving them a place to grow and expand their horizons.

·      Educate the public about women in crisis in today's society.

The Daxie Center is the only autism research funding organization that actively supports this type of research. We firmly believe that, through complementary healthcare, the lives of autistic children will be improved so that the children will be capable of functioning in society and living a productive life.
